I've never had any reduction in power. It's just been intermittent bad shifts. Like I did I get rear ended.... then it goes away, and is fine for a while. Then it comes back and finally after going back and forth it will finally throw that code. Very very strange. Seems to be a computer mis communication. Check engine light is on again so I'm going to have a diagnostic test done on it and see how that goes.

Dirtymafia..... are you still out there? I'd love to hear what ever happened or if you ever figured out the issue. Or anyone else who has some input. This rig is sick. I'd just like to figure out these crazy intermittent shifts. It's like it's got back spams every so often, and then it goes away. It throws the code for me every couple thousand miles. But the hard shifts are every few times you take it out. Seems to get worse if you take a trip that's over 40 miles. Never happened when taking it out when she is still cold. I'd love some input here.

New to the forum here. Just purchased this suburban. Previous owner sounds exactly like dirtymafia..... almost identical stories. Anyone ever figure out what the issue is with these things. I bought this vehicle for an awesome price and figured I could fix the issues. Previous owner was super honest and let me in on everything he has tried to fix and such. Suburban runs fine other then the rough shifting and throwing p0011. I've talked in passing to a few gm techs who said that there is a oil filter that increases oil pressure by 10psi or so ( mine idles at 19psi and cruises at 36psi) and has helped resolve a lot of people's gm problems. Anyone ever hear of such a beast. Any thoughts or ideas would be awesome. She's got 103k on her and is awesome other then the rough shifts as described by dirtymafia. Thx
