  1. Front struts are fairly easy with the right tools. I had problems getting the lower ball joints popped with a hammer and ended up borrowing a puller. Most auto parts have loaners. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks. Ordered mine from Summit but they had drop shipped from factory in CA. Took 5 days UPS. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. Before and after. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  4. Originally I used 4 rings without the spindles and dropped 1.5" then installed the spindles and added a ring back on which gave me 3" total.

  6. Just finished up my install of the McGaughys 34270 kit. Overall I'm happy with the results however the job would be much easier with a detailed set of instructions. I ended up with 3" drop in front and 5" in the rear. The ride is the same and I haven't had any rubbing or bottom outs. The rear still has 3-4" of travel to the stops. 7. They are referring to the upper and lower control arms and yours are stamped steel with the larger ball joints. You would use the 34270 kit for 2wd. I'm in the middle of an install and will post pictures when done.
  8. Back is 5" front is 1" so far. Waiting on spindles. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  9. Looks great! Do you have any tire rubbing? I'm installing the 34270 kit on my 17 DC 2wd. I set the rear hangers at 5" drop. Still working on the front and and plan on 3" with factory tires. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, stamped steel control arms. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  11. Just bought a 2017 Silverado double cab 2wd and plan on lowering it on stock 20" wheels and tires. I have Mcgaughys 34270 adjustable kit on order and have a couple questions. 1- How low can I go on stock 275/55-20's? I'm thinking 3-5? 2- Would you use the McGaughy shocks that come with the kit or something else? 3- What is the easiest tool to cut off the bump stop bracket from the frame?
