  1. I have heated/cooled Katzkin's in my regular cab, the leather is really nice, looks OEM, heat works good, cooling blows air cant say it cools that great but i have never experienced stock cooled seats so I couldn't compare. Over all I love mine.
  2. Cast aluminum/stamped steel my truck came with aluminum but I actually had one replaced on warranty due to a clunk in the front end and they replace it with a stamped steel one so apparently they are interchangeable. Anyway I would be looking at Belltech 2514’s. That thin ball joint but is almost scary small!
  3. Good to hear thanks guys, might have to get a set of spindles and get her sitting a little lower! I know they say they clear 17’s but anyone put some 17’s on after spindles to confirm? My winter wheels/tires are 17’s.
  4. Anyone lower then 2/5 on stock size tires without getting a bunch of rubbing? Im considering adding spindles and going to 3/6 or 4/6 but im running 285/45/22 on 22x9.5 +24mm wheels, and i would rather stay at my current drop then go to a smaller tire. My current drop is 2/5 (Belltech shocks/flip kit) right now and have no rubbing, but its definitely close to the fender liner on the front.. also anyone having issues with 4x4 on a 4/6 drop, that needs to work with our winters here! haha
  5. Looks awesome, what spindles are you going with? I also have the 2" drop shocks on the front of my 4x4 and would like to get it down another inch atleast but its hard to figure out what spindles i can use the the 4x4. Mcgaughys seems to show I would need control arms as well, not really wanting to spend $1000+ just to lower it a little more haha
  6. Looks great! love the blue/black combo, what size tires are you running? Im guessing they are smaller then stock diameter?
  7. thanks for the update! sounds like a pain in the ass i guess i will see if i can find any other spindles that will work with a 4x4 and aluminum front end, or just leave at my current 2" drop i guess
  8. Thanks, Do you know what part number your spindles are? What style control arms are on your truck? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Don't you loose turning radius with most spindles? Thats something im not something to sacrifice. I was trying to look at mcgaughys spindles but as far as i can tell their spindles (34050) are for 2wd/steel control arms? Mine is a 4x4 with aluminum arms/spindles. The only setup on their site that i can see for a 14 4x4 requires upper control arms as weill (34204), if thats the only option i guess its staying at a 2 inch drop, not worth $1200 to drop an extra inch.. Any other options that im missing?
  10. Mine is Aluminum, currently I am lowered 2" in the front with Belltech struts, rides great, no alignment issues, the only time i get a bit of a rub is in reverse at full lock, and its just rubbing on my mud flaps so not too concerned i should really find some new ones since these sit an inch off the ground now that its lowered haha. If you are looking to drop 2" or less the struts are a great option imo, I kind of want to go a little lower now I have been considering some DJM 2" control arms and going back up a little with the shocks for around 3-3.5" total in the front and then I would drop the back from 5 to 6. Decisions..
  11. Has anyone retrofired any of the aftermarket housings? would they have the same mounting locations as the stock lights so that could use say FXR swap brackets? I was going to retrofit my stock lights but i would really like to black them out and would rather just buy new ones instead of trying to remove the lenses on my stock ones to paint them I was kind of eyeing up these ones: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-2014-2016-GMC-SIERRA-PICKUP-BLACK-HOUSING-AMBER-CORNER-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS/202122435926?hash=item2f0f6f9d56:g:O0UAAOSwzppaFi-I&vxp=mtr
  12. Good to hear, I was very impressed by the ride when i swapped mine
  13. What kit do you have, looks like stock shackle? that looks like you are already at the 5” setting at least on mine. Moving up to the next hole should drop you another inch either way
  14. Thanks, I went with Belltech 5/6 flip kit set to 5” rear ahocks are BELLTECH 2210FF, if you are still running stock shocks I highly recommend swapping them out, my truck rides so much better with the belltechs Front and back
