  1. I think help from the factory with this problem depends on the quality of the dealerships service staff. If they really want to turn you from just another customer into a repeat customer I think they're more apt to help right away. If they take your business and money for granted they'll fight you on it. I showed them mine and with no further discussion or arguing on my own behalf they pre ordered a replacement set to go on at my scheduled oil change next week. I was also told to look into a high end ceramic coating to put in the back of The new wheels if I want to possibly avoid further problems since I'll be out of warranty before the snow starts to fall. The service rep recommended the one sold by Adams Polishes. I looked into it online and it's pretty pricey at nearly $90. They claim the kit comes with enough to do 4 sets of wheels. I've never used a ceramic wheel coating before so can't say how well it'll work. I have used other products by Adams Polishes and found them to preform as well as they claim.
  2. Thanks I took them in already and had the service department take a look. They said "it's not an uncommon problem" and ordered a replacement set of wheels under warranty.
  3. Hi I'm a new member to this forum. I have a 2014 Silverado High Country that I purchased new off of a dealer lot in February of 2015. We have had 2 relatively mild winters here in Northelwest Indiana since then. Just yesterday I noticed the chrome surface of the wheels bubbling and peeling around the valve stem and a few other areas from the inside of each wheel. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so is GM standing behind them with warranty coverage? I still approx. 8 months or approximately 5,000 miles on my 3yr/36,000 mile coverage.
