  1. I'm sure it has to be more than 1%. What about the guys who say they test drove several vehicles on a lot and they all do it to some extent. I happen to have some weird shuddering and tranny shifting thing going on and I find out this problem exists, sure enough first time I get up to those speeds it has major vibration. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't closer to 5-10%
  2. I just don't have time to deal with this issue at all. My truck has 4600 on it since July but have only had it to those bad vibration speeds once, but it does other annoying things, like a weird lion moan noise from the transmission at low speeds. I am letting my wife have the truck as she likes it more, I bought a 2001 f350 and this is a lot worse of a ride, but it's a one ton. One thing, at what mileage do these sierras need oil changed? My computer is telling me something like 12,500km, is that right?
  3. I don't know if it's worth taking it in, it seems a few people have been resolved but most haven't. I think it's even more unlikely they help me after I lost it on their insurance broker who slipped a $2,000 gap insurance contract into my insurance.
  4. I have had mine 6 weeks and today was first time I took it on our Canadian version of the freeway. Our other highways have 55mph limits but there is one road where you can go 75mph. It would vibrate heavily at 119-121km per hour. Sometimes it stopped if I went higher or a little lower. I am wondering if it's worth my time to take it in for warranty work. Seems like nobody is getting anywhere and I will almost never get it up to those speeds.
  5. So what happened? The go fund me is shut down, did they threaten you?
  6. Actually that does sound like it might be relevant to me. I have noticed it feels like a lot of resistance on highway with windows down too. I'll take note of it as I drive around today. I haven't owned newer than 2001 so I'm not used to new designs.
  7. Yea maybe about half the time.We both smoke and said we wouldn't smoke in the truck but we're in it a couple hours a day so that lasted about a day.
  8. Good video. Are others having the vibration at all speeds? I don't get on the highway a lot but drive around through low limit roads a lot for work and seems like the truck is always struggling, vibrating, bad shifting. The worse part is my ears are constantly plugging and makes me a bit car sick, something I have never felt while being behind the wheel until now.
  9. Hi everyone, from northwest Canada here. My wife and I just got a 2017 Sierra 1500 for our landscaping business. We had a rough patch in life and both had bad credit so we had to put down $15,000 for any dealer to even finance us. We are very excited to be able to have a new truck for our business and chose to have a bit more reliability and go new. Second day I noticed some weird shifting going up our steep hill and rumbling at low speeds. Then yesterday going 80km it felt like I was hitting a rumble strip for 5-10 seconds and my ears plugged, was very noticeable. I looked it up and found this, I don't know anything about vehicles. I figured 38,000 would buy us reliability for a year or two, there is no lemon law up here, if it gets worse and I want to take it in I can't afford to not have a truck for even 2 days. It honestly doesn't bother me alot but we will see if this keeps up.
