I thought a 6.0 had a 90mm ,,,ive got a 2006 6.0 out of a 2500hd truck,ive got 3 different 2002,2004,2006 ecms,so my eng is a gen3 ? right
im a duramax guy,I just got this Tahoe for a winter beater
ok,why?
I was a GM tech, other forums say it can be done,
what do you know, that im not seeing?,
im told if I use the electronic throttle, the wiring from the pedal to the TAC,the TAC module[mounted where the cruise module is] and add the wires to the ECM plug it will work,[ECM must be ''blue and red conectors'']
educate me,I want to know
2002 trucks also had drive-by-wire and or drive-by-cable
I have a 2002 Tahoe with a [throttle cable]came with a 5.3,,can I use a 2006 6.0 eng/complete with acc's-wiring[from intake to oil pan],and add the ''drive by wire '' setup ,[throttle pedal,TAC,wiring] ive read everything I can find,[yes I need a 5.3 flexplate],im seeing that if I use a tac/throttle combo,i need to add some wires to the ECM
where should I keep looking?
i know a farmer that has a set of scales that are certified by the state of mo dept of ag. i've weighed everything and it wasn't that far off for what i thought it would be.
a duramax diesel will out-pull and out-last any 6.0 truck, while getting better fuel milage and less up keep,
