Flogging a dead horse here. I have a 2016. Ordered it in May 2015. Had it delivered in September 2015 . I have never tried to use Auto android until just recently.
I phoned dealer to make an appointment to have this update done in May 2016. He said he would get back to me. He never did. About a month ago I went in far a free oil change and asked for the update. He talked to a few other service guys and came back and said it would cost an hours labour because I waited so long. I said no thanks.
So today after watching youtube videos on this I thought I would really try and get it working. I hit the projection button and it say device not recogniZed. Samsung S5 with all updates
What should I do?
Has anyone "hacked" the rear view camera so you can see what's going on in the back while driving? I thought it might be useful if towing a trailer down the highway to take a peek at the hitch every once in a while.
I have a 2016 GMC and the text messages take up to 60 seconds to come though on the radio from when my android phone beeps. I thought this was normal until I rented a 2016 Dodge Pick-up. They come through instantly so there must be something wrong with my GMC
In all my other GM's you had to hold the key until engine started. In this new one, you just turn it to start and leave it. So going back to the original post, Is this the new normal?
I turn the key to start and let go. It stays in the start position until the engine starts (maybe only a second or two) and then it returns to run by itself after the engine starts
Is it just mine?
I have only driven the truck a half dozen times but when I turn the key to start it, the key stays in the start position (by itself) until the engine starts, then releases (by itself)
Is this something new or is it my first defect?
