I’m sorry this happened to you, but I’m the 35 years I’ve been driving, I’ve never locked my keys in a vehicle. When we travel, we have two sets with us, I carry one and my wife carries the other. Maybe it’s an occupational hazard, I don’t leave my truck running unless I’m in it. I’ve seen too many get stolen that way. Buddy passed at age 10 in June of 2018. RIP Buddy. He had some health issues that took him way too soon. After 8 months of a quiet house and not getting out on our property enough we started looking for another lab. We have always had rescues, and we're looking for another. River found us. She was a little over a year old and needed a family to love her, and we needed her. She been with us for a little over 6 months, and what a great dog. She's pretty relaxed in the truck too. In 2006 I bought a DC (extended cab back then). My son was 5, and it was a good size for us. I used the bed to haul lots of stuff. Fast forward 10 years. I haul less, I’ve acquired some trailers for the toys, my son is now the size of an adult. I bought a CC in 2016. I don’t notice the difference, but when we travel as a family, he sure notices.
