  1. Had all four tires balanced today by an actual tire shop this time. A little less vibration but still has the shake. The steering wheel vibration has decreased a bit too. Oh well. At least I had it done for free. Guy said the balance that the dealership had done was horrible.
  2. Hey guys just a thought. Would it be possible to lift the truck up on a lift, all four wheels off the ground, bring the truck up to speed, get underneath the truck and try and see if anything sticks out as the source of vibration?
  3. I will do that next. Thanks. If it was the axle flange, wouldn't I feel the shake all the time? Mine does it at 45mph exactly and between 72-85. Thanks
  4. I had my driveshaft balanced by a professional shop and my truck still vibrates.
  5. I did some heavy hauling/towing recently. My bed had at least 800 pounds in it, and I was hauling a trailer with cargo weighing around 5,000 pounds. My truck still shook. At certain speeds the center console shook like it always does. Many friends always told me that if I loaded the bed it would be fine. Nope. She was fully loaded and still shook.
  6. How would I check that? My dad and I rotated both rear tires while on the truck and they were spinning true. We put a dial gauge on the edge of both tires and had zero readings on the gauge. They were spinning true. I would think if it was the axle flange then my tire wouldn't be spinning true and the dial indicator would show a reading.
  7. I did exactly that. Driveshaft was slightly out of balance. They fixed it and still vibrates.
  8. Pretty much. I'm giving up on this soon. Tired of worrying about it. Soon as I can I'll get a other truck and never look at a GM product again.
  9. The engineer was perplexed? I call BS. No way that after all these years they still don't know what's causing the problems.
  10. Yeah if I wasn't taking a gigantic hit, I'd buy a Tundra tomorrow.
  11. It's cool. It'll be the last dime they'll ever take from me. Next truck will be a Toyota or Nissan.
  12. Exactly. How is it that this started with the 2014s and the 2017s are also having the same vibration problems.
