2017 Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2L

I currently drive a 2011 Sierra Crew Cab SLT 4WD 5.3L with tow package. as it sits rated for 9500lbs towing. Looking at a 2017 Sierra 1500 4WD Denali 6.2L( rated 9100lbs Tow). I do not want to loose anything with towing my travel trailer. Right now my 2011 tows it fine as long as not too windy or hills. Also looked at 2015 2500 with 6.0L 4WD. What differences should I or could I expect with the 2 -1500's . Will the 6.2L 8 speed perform similar to the 5.3L 6 speed.

How to tell if 15 or 15.5, likely 15 as build is 07/14. Do not come on either way, the clear reverse ones.

Looking at a 2015 Sierra 2500 Denali. It has the large side mirrors with the chrome caps, orange front facing lenses, the small clear lights that shine rearwards, power mirrors but not power folding. The only time I can get the orange front facing lights to do anything is when I lock or unlock the doors.....they flash and will time out in the 30 seconds that is set in the DIC. I can not get the clear lights to light up at all when in reverse???...Dealer told me it has to be dark out. I parked in my dark garage and still nothing. When should the orange front markers illuminate? What is the function for them. Am I doing something wrong to get the clear backup ones to light up..... Maybe there is an issue with them that needs fixed.

Considering purchase of a 2015 Sierra 2500HD Denali. I have yet to actually look at the vehicle other than through the window . I am wondering if the intellilink will have android auto. I also have a 2016 Buick Envision and unfortunately android auto came in the 2017 and I would need a hardware upgrade as per GM. Curious when it came out in the trucks.
