Bed View Camera Help
lsorah0001 replied to lsorah0001's topic in 2020-2024 Silverado HD & Sierra HD Mods
@KTDanforth Yes, It's just a standard mirror without the screen on... I haven't went searching for the plugs yet, but gen5diy has a rear view camera setup for sale on their site. And the truck they installed it in didn't have the plugs from the factory. I did send them an email suggesting a kit for the bed view camera. We'll see if I get a response before I look for the plugs in my truck... -

So, I have a '22 CC LT and the only thing it doesn't have that I really wish it did is a bed view camera. I've searched several forums to see if it could be added, and up to this point, all efforts seem futile. Between modules and reprogramming to get the camera to show on the head unit, every lead ended up dead. We just got a new truck on the lot that has the bed view camera display in a small screen in the rear view mirror. And it is activated by a button on the camera; seemingly independent of any other module. I pulled the part numbers using that specific VIN: 85510310 Mirror 84601056 CHMSL with Camera 84859040 Camera Wiring Does anybody have more knowledge that I do that my be able to discern if I bought these parts and put them on my truck, they would basically be plug and play. I can get pictures of the truck that has it and provide the VIN if that would help...Thoughts???

Looks great! Do you have any pictures of how you ran the wiring and tied in to the puddle lights? -

Hello! I wanted to start a thread to document my experience ordering a new truck in hopes it will help/provide insight to others doing the same. I’ll update as I get updates. But first, truck details: —2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab Custom 4WD -Northsky Blue Metallic -Custom Value Package -Gooseneck/5th Wheel Package -Safety Confidence Package -Snow Plow Prep/Camper Package -Smoked Amber LED roof marker lamps -Multi-Flex Tailgate -Front and Rear molded splash guards -120-volt power outlet -Bed View Camera -All-weather floor liners Without giving away too much info, a family member is the GM at my dealership and other family members work there. Not that there is an expectation of special treatment, but hopefully more insight that I can share. I don’t mind pestering them for updates, lol. I’m told orders usually get picked up in about 10 days and estimated delivery in 6-8 weeks. As far as I know, nothing on my order is on restriction. I’ll keep the timeline updated as I get updates and if there is interest, I’ll try to provide as much info/help as possible. August 17 order entered as a sold order. September 21 - just got notified that it has moved to 2000 status, order accepted by GM. No TPW yet.

I glad you started this thread! I've been meaning to, but never got around to it. There doesn't seem to be a ver big presence on here of our color. I too hate that they are discontinuing it, but glad I got one while i could! -
2014+ Truck Bed / Tonneau Covers
lsorah0001 replied to Green 1364's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
I have a tri-fold from ebay. It's a no name, got it for $200. Fits great, and keeps the water out. Really easy to remove; held on by two screw/latches at the front of the bed, and two hooks at the back. I can put it on and take it off without any help. -

I bought a soft tri-fold off of ebay. $220 shipped. It doesn't have a name on it, but it looks just as good and has the same hardware as a friend of mine's name brand. Only had it a couple weeks, but have driven it in rain and it didn't leak at all. Plus, I think it looks great on!
