  1. Grapples are awesome! When I was in the ag equipment business, my customers said they were very handy. I knew I needed one for my business, since I was tired of picking up all the brush I was cutting down. It stays hooked up most of the time. If you have property to maintain & have a loader, a grapple is great to have. Later.
  2. I'm just doing a little log skidding. The log in the grapple is about a foot thick. The are cut 18 feet long. The big ones in the pile are 2 ft thick. Tractor is a 4320 4x4 with R4 tires, 48 eng, 40 pto hp, 400 loader is rated about 8 ft high w/ 2200 lbs. Worksaver grapple is a big labor saver when I am clearing a customers property. It handles a 6 ft MX6 1100 lb cutter really well. This one has a wet clutch power-reverser 12 speed transmission which is really helpful doing loader work. No clutching required from forward to reverse. It is a little big in tight areas around the house, but it works great almost everywhere else. I just need more attachments. Later.
  3. I think I used zip ties on my around the connection to tighten it up on my 02 EC. That pulled the glass in, but the frame would flex & still allow some noise. I was having the windshield changed & he popped EC door cover off to show me how the frame flexed. I guess some new epoxy may have held the frame in place & helped the noise, but I never did since my son got the truck soon after. Windshield man said he would just seal the window shut with window sealant. Black stuff in red tube. Urethane not necessary since clip is holding most of the pressure. Good luck.
  4. Quote by sahls01gmc I'm a lil nervous messing with the brake lines, as they are the only thing that stops me. That's a great line. So true. I was initially thinking sticking caliper pins, but they should not cause all of those issues. The brake lines degrading sounds much more reasonable. Post how you solve it. Good luck, Babyhauler
  5. I was going to do this to my 02 1500. Instead, I just got an 05 1500 crew cab that has the factory e-fans. In our heat, it sooo much nicer not to listen to that bus fan roaring away under the hood as I am running around town. My 95 Impala SS had them and I really liked the noise level (or lack of). I auto-crossed the SS in the summers and never had an issue. I think it is a good mod to do. Good luck. Do a search and there is a ton of info out there about this, some include pictures and parts list. Babyhauler
