  1. Just happen first time, the key would not go into the cylinder, not even a little.I ended up pulling the dipstick and putting a dab of oil on the end of the key, while wiggling the key and the shifter it went in, I don't think it was the lube, it felt like the shifter movement allowed it to go in.I plan to use the new spare key from now on,havent been out to try it.Anyone deal with this on a 014-018 ?
  2. Today was the first time this has ever happen.2016 1500 owned since new ,now 135k miles, filter and fluid change 5 times in its life. Its been flawless.Today cold I put it in D and it was a soft engagement ,gave it a second went to reverse same soft feel gave it 1/10 throttle felt slippy (did it for 1/2 a second)same forward and reverse.Went to park shut it off, refired it and was normal.Do these have some pressure control that does fails ? Fluid was cherry and filter cut open had nothing in it 2k ago. THANKS at 97k i did put a temp sensor harness in it.Other than maintenance and 1 wheel bearing its been flawless

  4. This truck is a 6.2 NHT max tow,it never got warm towing before.I have HP tuners, tuner set fans to come on early,im down to pulling grill and fans and cleaning intercooler condenser and Rad with air then water.
  5. Hey OP,did you figure it out? I am dealing with the same thing, whipple 6.2,now gets hotter than before when towing pulling hills and running empty 0-80 WOT she goes up to 230* quick then slow down, she goes down quick
  6. Tuner went with a more aggressive fan settings,i towed again, temps came up again, not quite as hot.Yesterday I swapped in a new ac delco thermostat, took it out and drove it empty on flat ground, cruise at 207*,temps would fluctuate more than I think they should. When I would do a WOT pull, say 0-85mph,temps would shoot to 229* then cool right back down, anyone seen this?you know the passenger side of radiator doesnt feel all that hot. Thanks
  7. Thanks for posting,my question to you, when logging your fans do you fans 1,2 , 3, and does fan 1 always show ON?
  8. 2016 6.2 112k near flawless miles, towed a lot ,recently towed 7k over the long haul mountain pass, she got to 240* near the top, cooled down going down the other side.Never did hear the fans roar. The next day I disconnected the tempo sensor to test, the fans revved as they should.Put the HP tuners on it,pids show fans 1,2,3 they show off the whole time logging although they show running 25% Today I put HP tuners on my 2014 truck,it shows fans 1.2.3 and fan 1 is showing running the entire time.Hoping a guru can help me figure this out,at the point to swapping fan assembly's.Thanks fuse's are good ,no CEL
  9. maybe these are not the numbers,by not having a increase of HP ,its better for the 2018 sales
  10. went for a drive today,a few 0-100 blasts,didnt take long
  11. If weather pending, may have to take a ride tomorrow
