  1. I have a 2019 Silverrado HD 3500. I had the dealer call GM and open a ticket to reprogram the BCM to eliminate the Canbus light current monitoring function. This is used by Up Fitters for aftermarket installs. The cost was $200. I then was able to install Super Nova V4 LED lights for both low and high beam. I went with GTR for the driving lights since they are no cooling fan. See Headlight Revolution for the products and videos. I can now use any LED bulb on the truck with no ballast needed. Very cool. Got all my bulbs from Headlight R. Converted the entire truck exterior.
  2. The Dealer can contact GM and for a factory sale ticket charge of $150, the factory will authorize your VIN to allow the CANAM lights out fast flash error message function to be disabled. This is done for fleet and up fitter businesses to allow alternate equipment such as LED lights. The Disable function affects all all CANAM lights out fast flash error messages. Install LED with no resistors reqired. The Dealer wants one hour of labor and GM wants $150. About $250-270 out the door.
  3. I have just installed this exact kit on my 2019 Silverrado 3500hd SRW. Takes about 30 minutes for both sides. Purchased from Headlight Revolution. I removed the first 5 torx screws on each side from the front bumber going back. Turn the tires full lock outward for clearance. Fold the inner liner back towards the tire. They will stay in place. Counter clockwise the stock bulb , remove stock bulb, replace LED bulb in harness, make sure the ballast resistor harness is screwed into the bulb harness. Mine in the box were plugged together but the nut was not fully screwed into the harness. The harnesses plug together, then the locking nut must be screwed tight. Take the excess wire, ballast and tie off to the unused bolt hole with a nylon tie wrap. Reinstall fender liner. Done!!!!! I also installed SUPERNOVA V4 LED headlights for both low and high beam. The beam pattern is exactly like the stock bulb pattern with no upper bleed off. Nice sharp cutoff line. These are the only LED kits that will work properly on the low beam side since they are projector beams. The high beam side is a reflector type lamp. No CANAM issues. The SUPERNOVA V4s are much brighter than any stock LED factory lamp. With the high and low beams on, you will not believe how bright the high beams are!!!!! Good luck----
  4. I have a 2019 Silverrado 3500 HD SRW. I haul an Arctic Fox 990, 4320 pounds dry. I am using Michelin Defender LT295-70-18 Load Range 129 , each tire is good for 4080 pounds each. I have added an additional leaf spring to the main spring packs, TorqLift Stable Lifts, wireless airbags. The tires fit perfect with no sidewall flex. My truck with the camper on, is higher in the back than the front!!!!
  5. Yes, the truck is 100% stock. I just loaded my Arctic Fox 990 today and the truck drives great. Each tire is good for 4080lbs. The tires handle the 4321lb camper great. No sidewall flex due to the weight in rear.
  6. I have a 2011 3500HD Silverrado SRW. I just was able replace my Michelin LTX LT275-70-18 with LTX Defender LT295-70-18. The rear had plenty of clearance with factory mud flaps. The front is stock with mud flaps. The new tires required me to slightly trim the inside 2in of each mud flap. The truck drives fine with no rubbing. The new tires are load rated 129 at 4065lbs per tire. Great for camper hauling. I have an Arctic Fox 990S camper and tow a 22ft jet boat. Stock wheels, alloy.
  7. I have a 2011 Silverrado 3500HD. Factory Rear View Mirror Camera. I just installed a new nav unit that does not have the video feed. My M-BEC connector on the left side has the following color connectors: Gray, Brown, Blue, blank, blank My M-Bec connector on the right side has the following color connectors: Gray, Black, Green, Red, blank. I need to know which connector color is supposed to have the video feed. I need a white and blue wire to be routed to the Nav unit pin 6 (White), pin 7 (Blue) to the brown connector on back of Nav. Where is everyone picking off the white and blue wire? The rear camera system comes up to the M-BEC from the rear. The factory then uses a single cable from the M-BEC to feed either the Rear Mirror or the Nav unit but not both. If you are using factory install, parts, and you already have a Rear View Mirror Camera, one would replace the M-BEC harness for the mirror and use one to feed the Nav instead. Both Brand Motino and CubbyCam make the Mirror and Nav M-BEC harness. I cannot tell which M-BEC connector color is supposed to feed the video signal to mirror or nav.
