  1. So, I show up and saw the fender wrinkle on the right side. Slight. but there. That explained the limited pics. May not be a deal breaker if the the price was right. It had been smoked in at some time. Hard no for me right there. I figured I was there so I took it for a test drive. A small rear diff whine at around 45mph. That was enough for me. I found a white 2006 Yukon SLT sitting in a driveway on my lunch walks. Right next to it is a white 2015 Yukon SLT. The 06 Looks pretty clean, all stock. I thought it was worth an ask so I left a note on the winshield and the lady called me back. Retired couple. Original owners of the vehicle and she estimates the mileage at around 130k. She didnt know if they'd be willing to sell so she was going to ask her husband. Waiting for a call back to find out and maybe go look at the vehicle. Pretty excited.
  2. Sa - weeet! Much appreciated. I'll post back with what I found on the truck when I go to see it.
  3. Looking at a 2009 Tahoe with 156K, looks clean. I'd like to see the build sheet before I go look at it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. VIN 1GNFK23079R266062
  4. Its been awhile, photobucket took a crap so no mo pics. People have been pinging me for pics. Found some pics on my pc.
  5. If you went with the 295/60 20s you could go with the +20 or +18 and still be ok. You may have to trim the front valance at a slight angle...... or you may not. The 295s are a taller tire and would fill the wheel well more proportionately to the height. Also, consider a stock wheel is +44 and sits just under flush with stock tires. the additional +24 offset will bring your wheel/tire edge out an additional inch. 1 inch = 24 mm. It's a big truck. It needs big tires.
  6. Cranked to 2.5" , removed the front valance, peeled back the fender liner and pinned back the pinch weld to increase the space at the rear of the fender trimmed about 1" off the bottom of the front of the fender liner Wheels are MKW 20x9 +10 offset Tires are Toyo AT II 35 12.5 R20
  7. I know the feeling. The fender wells are unusually tall so it diminishes the tire size from the beginning. Once you level it, it increases the distance above the tire even more. What size tires are you planning on putting on?
  8. Fronts and rears measure 1 3/8" outside the plastic fender trim. That's with a +10 offset. I'd say you could go to a +18 or +20 offset and not rub on the sway bar or frame. My goal was to fit the biggest tire I could, with no lift, just a level. I like the stock ride too much to mess with it. I've had 4 and 5" lifts and, no matter how nice the quality of the lift, the truck wanders a bit. Plus, I tow so i don't want to raise my center of gravity anymore than I have to. I'm getting ready to do a write up on the whole level/mod project with lotsa pics. Hope others can benefit from my experiments.
