  1. I have a 2011 Silverado 6.2l with 6 speed transmission. I have read about the numerous transmission problems online. I would like to avoid issues if feasible. Truck currently has 87k miles. What upgrades should I consider to prolong the life of my transmission? Is it worth upgrading the torque converter? If so, which one? Does this require reprogramming? Currently running ARH Long tube headers, air raid jr intake, and Blackbear tune. No other upgrades planned. Thanks for any information or advice on advance!!
  2. Anybody? Could it be the difference in hooking to a video RCA input vs. some other input?
  3. Any ideas why my camera view on my Eonon radio is opposite of my RVM camera, left is right and right is left???
  4. I noticed today that my Eonon view of the back up camera is opposite to the one in my rear view mirror. Are my wires backwards, or does it operate this way. Like hooking to my trailer, the more I turned towards the hitch, the further away I was getting in the Eonon screen
  5. My 2011 runs pretty rough when I first crank it. Other than starting right away, you may even think it's not fuel injected the way it runs for a couple of seconds. Then it runs smooth with only a small yet aggravating exhaust leak. No codes. I'm guessing this isn't typical.
  6. I have an exhaust leak on the driver's side. I thought it may be leaking at manifold, but dealer said the problem is usually the first joint. I checked to make sure the 3 bolt flange was tight. It may not be as bad now but still leaks. Exhaust wrap?? Would a small leak cause less low-end torque? Hopefully I have fixed a couple things on my truck to make it perform slightly better. First was a double win! I was taking off my OEM intake to install my Airaid Jr. and I found it had muddy water in it. So with the new intake and absence of water, I should be better off. I swapped my 3.42 gears for 3.73 which is a plus. But I swapped my stock tires for slightly larger BF Goodrich KM2's which are pretty heavy. I don't know if the gearing is enough to offset the tire difference or not. Lastly I uninstalled my Hypertech and am going with the BBP tune!!! Can't wait after reading all the good things about it. Johnny
  7. I've decided to purchase Airaid Jr for my 6.2, but what about the throttle body spacers? Are they worth investing in?
  8. So can you tell a power difference when running E85? I have a 2013 boat and it specifically says not to run Ethanol. Small engines are the same way. Therefore I a station has both, I don't run it in my truck either.
  9. Usually 89 or 93 octane. Does it make a difference if it's ethanol or not?
  10. After reading some of this thread, I am concerned that my 6.2L may not have the stock power that it is suppose to. I guess a Dyno is my only option to find out for sure, or is there another method. Anyone know a good dyno shop around Montgomery, Alabama?
  11. As far as my 6.2L, is there anything I should check concerning power? An older friend said it sounded like it may have a slight skip, but I think he may have heard the exhaust leak instead. Anyway, I will replace the plugs, but anything else? Also I notices I am missing a screw for the airbox lid. Is this a dealer only item? It looks almost like a wood screw with a collar near the head.
  12. Yep. 6.2L. Now you have me concerned. I bought it used with 50k miles. It does sound like it has a slight exhaust leak (manifold gasket) when I first crank it.
