  1. how do you force close xm, ? will be a while before I drive my truck,, got rearended this afternoon,,
  2. I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 with 3.0 diesel, Sometimes when I shut the truck off and then get back and start it up,, the radio says the satellite is lost, trying to reconnect, but it won't until I shut the motor off and get out of the truck or at least wait at least 2 minutes or more with the motor and radio off,, then restart and the radio works fine,, this only happens with xm,, fm and am work fine,, I have contacted my dealer and they say it must be xm,,, contacted xm,, they say it must them the radio, It doesn't do this all the time,, just once in a while,,, no matter how long I drive with it saying it is trying to reconnect, it never does,, wondering, Am I the only one having this problem? Not sure who to talk to next,,, any ideas? Thanks
  3. the gal that does all the tech stuff,, show people how things work said that she had no idea,, didn't ask the service people though,, the light is on when I get in the truck,, but goes out as soon as the engine starts,, so guessing it must be on for a reason,, just can't figure out the reason,, LOL,, doesn't seem to be hurting anything.
  4. I have a 2020 GMC Sierra SLE with the 3.0 diesel,, sometimes when I get in the truck,, the light on the hazard light switch is on,, but,, the hazard lights are not flashing,, Talked to my dealer and they had no idea,, anyone know why this light is on? It goes off when I start the engine. Just noticed yesterday that the light is on whenever the truck is locked, Thanks.
  5. no idea about the voltage, Tinted windshield would make your lights go off and on a lot for sure.
  6. Mine work just fine now since I took some of the stuff off the sensor. I like my lights on during the day, Other people can see me a lot better and I am not trying to hide from anyone.
  7. I forget how much of the white stuff I took out,, not that hard to get it out, take a bit out,, try it and if not enough,, take a bit more out, this stuff is really sticky, good luck,,
  8. I have not had any problem with street lights,, just don't take too much out and it should be fine.
  9. I took my sensor apart and took most of the white goop that is around it off.I did leave quite a bit on it though, I took the sensor out like in the video above, hardes part was taking the sensor apart. 2 buttons on the round part and 2 more on the flat part where the plug goes into, then just pull the card out of the round sensor and the white goop will come with it, just be careful you don't break anything,, I asked at my dealer,,, they said that it is normal on the new trucks,, very sensitive, am sure they won't touch it. Mine works like it is supposed to now. Good luck
  10. I watched a video today where they took the front strip off the top of the dash and the sensor was on it,, looks a lot easier than taking the front of the dash off,, that front strip just pops off
  11. My 17 does the same thing,,,bright sunlight and they will come on if the sun is not shining directly on the sensor, complained to the dealer, he just said that the sensor was very sensitive and it was normal,, In other words,, just put up with it,, My 16 did not do it.
  12. It has been in for service, but no idea if it was done there,, I will just get the other one out and use it, if I can't find a cheap one on e bay and swap out the cards.
  13. nope,,, no dog..or cat or kids at home. LOL
