82000 all the dealer said is you will have to appeal to gm.... Out of warranty

I just picked up my 2019 RST from the dealership this evening. Exactly the same symptoms as the OP reported.... Collapsed lifter on cylinder #5, camshaft damage. A week later and 9800.00 bill I am beyond pissed at GM... Take the advice of bikerjon

I have been growling at these exhaust tips since April. Finding an easy way to get them off has ended in frustration at least 4 times... No more!!!! They are off and will be dropped at the powder coater on Tuesday. This right up was awesome!!!! It takes about 10 minutes on each side with an air ratchet. Thank You for the right up!!!!!!!! Andy

GM Customer Service (even the escalated level) is a joke. They denied the "Climate Off" issue for months, even with the information from several hundred if not thousand customers had the issue. They troll these forums but don't use the information shared...

I am looking at these wheels for my 19 Silverado RST. I have seen many posts on getting the correct wheels because of clearance issues with the brake calipers and bolt pattern. My question for someone well versed at decoding these numbers, is will these work with my '19 and the 275 65 18 tires I have? Size 18x9 BP 6x139.7 bore 108 offset 20

Well........ The only issue I was having was the "Climate Off" issue and it seems to be fixed...

V805.1 of the infotainment system dropped today. 146mb download and I haven't had the "climate off" issue since the download and installation. I can't find anything else this download addressed, but if it fixed the "climate off" issue, I'm a happy camper. Thanks GM for fixing something that should have been addressed months ago! Andy

Get over it???? I pay 50,000.00 for a truck and I expect it to work. EVERYTHING to WORK. So, NO. I doubt many of us affected by this issue will simply "get over it" until it is fixed and works as intended.

I have bought 4 trucks from Chesrown over the past 10 years... I would have continued to be a customer there if not for 1 reason... Wyler was willing to make a far better deal... So I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. Chesrown has good people and a great customer lounge... There was just too big of a difference in the deal.... Oh well.... Jeff Wyler doesn't care about their reputation or their customers... They have made that perfectly clear

I too have had this issue on my 2019 Silverado RST. This is the best part... My truck was in for a recall, oil change and tire rotation and this "climate off" problem was on the list. The dealership Jeff Wyler Cheverolet in Canal Winchester (Columbus, Ohio), said that this issue could not be diagnosed because I had installed a radar detector and a behind the grill light bar. They claimed to have taken pictures of it and sent to GM to invalidate my warranty. Both my "aftermarket accessories" are plugged into accessory spots on the fuse block. They say it could disrupt the computer. Problem is I have documented that I have had these issues since day two with this truck... Well before anything was installed. They even threatened to remove the "aftermarket accessories" if the truck was brought back for warranty work. Seriously??? This vehicle is MY property. It's a way the dealer is trying to cover their ass because their technician is too stupid to troubleshoot issues. I understand that GM doesn't have a fix for this yet, but they do know of the issue and a current technician should be able to know what is going on, rather than to try to blame it on a customer installed part... Scam Alert!!! I bought a BAK Industries revolver x4 the second week of March and I received a rebate flier. After filling out the form and mailing it in, 8 weeks later I get an email saying that the purchase didn't fall within the rebate period... The flier I have seen it's good through March 31st... No start date on it.... I have seen other social media posts that warn of these rebates being hard to collect, so buyer beware... Sad since this is my second cover from this company and I like their product. They also seem to stand behind their products, apparently just not their rebates...
