  1. Thanks for the reply, I think I already know the answer, just wanted some feedback. Yeah, things are crazy now, not sure if they will ever "stabilize". I believe the auto makers are using supply chain, etc. to keep inventories low and prices up and know folks will wait for an ordered full MSRP truck.
  2. Opinions needed. Do I keep my low miles (16K) 2014 Sierra SLT (4WD dbl cab, 5.3L, Max trailer pkg), or run the risk and order a new 2024 and wait for the 6-8 month (or longer)? Are the these new gen trucks worth it, or not? Thanks.
  3. Ok, thanks for the feedback. Anyone suggest an aftermarket version similar to the GM 6"steps??
  4. I found the GM 6" rectangular steps (84106505) from an online dealer for $567 shipped, wondering if that's a good price?
  5. Hi, I know this is an old post, are these still for sale? Thanks, Norm
  6. Hi, I know this is an old post, but do you still have these for sale? thanks, Norm
  7. The TRS kit looks good. Anyone know if this will work even though I got the GMC bulletin upgrade (BMC voltage changed)?
  8. Dealer installed per TSB, all looks good, no damage. Air box installed and secure, drivers bulb installed in the 3 tabs properly. Can only assume passenger side as well. Have not had it out yet (picked up yesterday). By the previous posts, I am probably not going to see much improvement. Will try out tonight. WLC, I too live in a similar area here in upstate NY, no lines on some roads and lots of deer crossing, add rain and it's not fun.
  9. Mine is going in for the TSB today, hope for some improvement. Really hope they install them correctly and not do any damage to the truck while installing, just hate taking to dealer, wish I could do the install myself.
  10. Not the step itself, but the front linkage assembly where it bolts to the truck cab.
  11. Can anyone with the AMP steps please look to see if there is an approximate 1/4" gap between the front idler linkage and the bottom cab pinch weld? Called their tech line and they stated it's normal, but I would think you want the linkage to sit on the pinch weld surface for support?? thanks.
  12. Anyone find a good deal for the Amp plug n play steps? Every place is $1299.
  13. How did you guys with the amp steps cut the step for the double cabs? Anyone use a miter saw with a non ferrous blade? Amp says to use a hacksaw, would like a cleaner cut. Thanks
  14. How is the 6 speed mated to the 6.2L? My brother in law has a '12 5.3 w/6speed and hates the tranny, claims it hunts alot and not smooth, I've never driven it. I like my '08 5.3 4 speed, but am seriously considering ordering a 6.2L next year. Likes/dislikes? Thanks.
