  1. Bit late on this thread, however, with the Cognito control arms, did you install the ballpoint through the top or under the arm?

  2. I'm looking at running 285/55R20s on a stock Sierra Denali. I saw them in that size at the dealer on a brand new Yukon and thought they looked great. The stock 275/55s look a little small on the truck. Damn things are 16LBS heavier than the stock tires though. Anyone have pics of 285/55R20s on a stock truck?
  3. GM lists an "Underbody Shield" as an accessory. Is this thing worth a second thought or should I look at other skid plate options? I'd like to at least protect the front diff and transfer case.
  4. I'd look at different exhausts but I don't want the chopper chase soundtrack. I also don't want to get rid of AFM because I've seen it work on the highway. Plus, I'm going to be leasing so I'm not sure how they'd take to a chopped up exhaust come return time.
  5. I'd love an exhaust that sounds as good as my old Corsa did on my '05. Deep and quiet at idle and under light throttle, louder at cold start and under heavy acceleration, but not obnoxious. I'm hoping the GM-Borla system is similar.
  6. Have you had a chance to get some clips of your exhaust? I'd love to hear some decent clips of the GM-Borla on a 6.2L.
  7. How are your front axles holding up? I'm thinking of going this route with the full 3" adjustment, adding 2" rear blocks and 33"x12.50" Toyo M/Ts on stock 20"s with 1.5" spacers.
  8. Got a pic of the Pro Clip mount? I had one in my Sonic and now use the Pro Clip phone holder on a PanaVise bracket in my Suburban. I'm not really sure I like any of the mounting options for the K2 from either company though.
  9. I hate to dig up an old thread but how do you like the 4" lift with 35"s after six months?
  10. Yeah, I'd have to go over everything with the aftermarket people first. I know what I want and if they can give it to me for a reasonable price, recalibrate the speedo and warranty it then I'll put it into the loan. If they try to screw with me on pricing then I can always just save up and do it myself. I'd also be looking at the GM-Borla exhaust and AMP Research steps.
  11. I went to the dealer tonight and took a look at some of their lifted trucks. They have a bunch of trucks with 6" of lift on 35"s and man, they look good. But, I need to be able to park in the garage and I don't want to get 12MPG. They had a truck with a 2" level and 305/55-20s (33.4"x12.4") on aftermarket wheels. Here's a photo comparison to stock height. Now, what I'm wanting to do to a Z71 is run a RC 2.5" level kit with the 2" rear blocks on factory 22" wheels and 33x12.50 Toyo M/Ts with 1" spacers. From my research it should work out about perfect. What do you guys think?
  12. I put 28K miles on my '99 Sierra in 9 months and I worked retail over-time. I just loved that truck.
