  1. I have a decent adapter that plugs into the 7 pin and has both 5 and 4 pin outputs. Also LEDs to test the light outputs. I think I bought it at Canadian Tire.
  2. Not doubting what you are saying but It would be interesting to see an apples to apples comparison with a '20+ diesel vs the L8T for IAT. I wouldn't think GM would add the cost of the scoop/plumbing if it wasn't a benefit. The bean counters would have eliminated it otherwise or they would all be just for show.
  3. Agree, they perform reasonably well in mud but I have never had them in anything up to the axles. The LT3s are my preference as well (we are even allowed studs here).
  4. I'm in Canada and have bought GMs (including my '21 and '24 HD), Fords, VW, Mazda, Can Am, Skidoo and Yamahas outside of town. I have never had a warranty or service issue except for once when I was looking to buy something the local Yammi dealer tried to threaten me with "if it needs fixing in season, you might be last in line if you don't purchase here". Wouldn't trust that dealer to wipe my dog's ass (if I had one) so that wouldn't have been a deciding factor. You will be fine.
  5. Don't forget weight in the bed adversely affects handling and braking distances. I live in Northern Ontario and honestly have never needed weight in any pickup I have owned. You would be much better off putting a good set of dedicated winter (not all season or all terrain) tires on. If you have never driven with winters, you will be in for a treat.
  6. I have periods like late last year when i didn't drive the truck from late November until January due to business travel and Christmas. I just had a period of 18 or 19 days when I didn't drive it so long enough stints here and there. I have never checked voltages but could after the next 'storage period'. Neither my '24, '22 nor '21 have ever exhibited any hesitation starting in these conditions and in my opinion shouldn't.
  7. When I park for extended periods at home in the garage, my key is usually in the truck. That shouldn't be the issue. Agree totally about checking for parasitic drain though. You can do that with a multimeter and a good pair of leads. It should be fairly easy to see if you have it. Finding out where it is sometimes not so smooth.
  8. Should be good for quite a while to park it without starting/charging. What if you go to the airport and park it for a few weeks? I have been out of town for work and hadn't used my truck since Feb 28th (stored it in my unheated detached garage) and it fired right up yesterday not plugged in, no tender. I would say there is either a parasitic draw or a bad battery which may be causing some of the other issues. Also have a '24 Denali Ultimate I picked up last May.
  9. The wheels will fit for sure. 2011+ 2500/3500 SRW have the same 8x180 bolt pattern.
  10. The first picture with the number ending 235 is the cord from my 2024. The second pic is from either my 2021 or my 2022. Found it in my basement so I guess I forgot to put the little kit with the bra and whatnot back in when I traded.
  11. I was going to ask if the inserts were removable. Mine are basically the same wheels but the inserts and caps are black. They look much better than the silver IMO but I probably would have picked something else if the price for the options wasn't so high (even higher here in Canada).
