  1. I'm pretty sure I saw a 2014 Sierra Silverado Hanes manual at Pep Boys for 29.99.
  2. I appreciate that you guys are willing to provide information. I ended up removing the overhead console to check wires. Three terminals in the feed (13, 14 & 15) are blank … can't tell what they're for. But the console terminal has three unused pin locations that are fed by the harness. Checked them with a multimeter ... pin 1 grnd, pin 2 lights and pin 3 ign switched. Zebrafive ID'd harness pin, manufacturer part #s for this type terminal. I have to order the pins and crimp to Homelink leads, insert into terminal and splice to ground. I could find only one ground wire in the harness at pin 1 (black). It grounds passenger side sensor switch and overhead lights. I hope attaching Homelink ground to doesn't upset anything … I'll be the first to find out if the airbag pops! LOL I'd still like to see a diagram of terminal pins 1-16 in the overhead console. If anyone has one, it would really be appreciated.
  3. I did try to get more, but the deal was too good too pass up. It's loaded, 25,500 miles, balance of warranty and certified to 2017. Price with trade was 30,460 before tax and DMV.
  4. They gave me 1,800 for it … it had 184,000 miles on it but was otherwise in great shape. Actually, my 2000 looked like yours. I wouldn't have sold it, but the deal on the '14 was too good to pass up and I didn't want to go through the headache of trying to sell it.
  5. I just traded my 2000 on a 2014 Suburban LT 1500 (previously an Enterprise rental) and didn't realize there was no Homelink in the roof console. My foolish mistake. So I picked up a Homelink on the net ... checked it and it works fine. In the console there are screw stands and mount to fit the Homelink transmitter and I can fit the buttons through the console facia, but I have one problem … the loom feed wiring. A Homelink has simple connections … a 12v, ground and lighting. I would simply wire it up, but the 2014 has so many damned computers in it, I'm worried about splicing into monitored circuits. I checked Chevrolet parts and they have no kit pigtail to retrofit a homelink. The female loom feed wiring to the roof console has all pin feeds wired, but the male connector has unused pin locations and I'm thinking these empty pin locations have a dedication for the Homelink, but which ones? Does anyone have a diagram to the 2014 Suburban roof console wire loom that designates pin connections?
