  1. Wouldnt doubt it . In all honesty with the grid the way it is surprised it doesnt happen more frequently. Its also funny how the media freaks out. Its always in the summer saying the refinery is down but it was always planned maintenance. I have known quite a few people who worked there and they just laughed.
  2. truck did do some exploring way up north
  3. I did 800 miles 12/22 and 800 back on 12/27. Hate Chicago traffic
  4. Still around and have the truck, creeping up on 60K miles.
  5. scraping is another option. Hurts but it pushes the scar tissue out and after a few days feels much better. Quick article I googled https://www.pritchettephysicaltherapy.com/blog-entries/2021/6/17/how-scraping-technique-can-help-with-injury-recovery
  6. 3rd GM truck and all 3 have had the issue. Cant say they arent consistent. lol
  7. Havent done much detailing in there but it is super bright. Friday will probably be the first day out for the car since my truck goes to the dealer for the oil cooler lines leaking (for an official diagnosis, parts are on national back order). My truck sits out 100% of the time now so it gets washed when I have time.
  8. Im still around. Since tapatalk went away I dont post much. I am mainly on the FB gm-trucks page now. No new vehicles still have both. Have looked (still look) at ZL1/1LEs just dont want to spend the money. My 18 is still a blast to drive.
  9. Well last March I moved in with my now wife as her house in our opinion offered more (mainly the backyard and bike trail access). The only thing really lacking was garage space as it only had a 2 car garage. I also added a 10x12 shed in the backyard. Started planning a garage build and surprisingly with the HOA and town it went fairly smooth (approval wise). The build started in July 2022 (contracted). Size wise it is 14 x22 and stores my car and tools. Enjoy some photos
  10. Honestly April 2020 - July 2020 worked out perfectly (for me). We were sent home (a week after buying a new home). Luckily the project I was working on was at the beginning stages and included a lot of phone calls/emails at the start so working from home was perfect as I didnt need to be in my office. I did go in a few times to get some prints and things I could not obtain from my work computer. It also gave me time to get things acclimated at the new house and multitask with the kids having school at home (every other week for me). I do agree it is hard to separate work/home but one thing i found is I spaced my day out much more and worked later into the evening or started earlier in the morning (calls with different time zones).
  11. My FB was hacked 12/26 by someone in Vietnam. They changed my profile pic to an isis flag and FB decided to lock my account and review it. They found I went against their community standards and deactivated it. Lost everything, started that account back in college around 2001? I was finally able to make a new one recently havent got everyone added back and I havent posted much.
  12. Nice truck! Did you get rid of your red one? Also whats with the blue mustang in the driveway LOL
