  1. Well, I wish good news. Ha! Had rear window leak repaired with clear silicone beads-3 of them at 8k and now at 8980 miles window is leaking again... so done with this truck. Hopefully my buyout will be approved by EOW. This is not just not because of window leaking, many more issues.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I get that same feeling and hear a like heat riser knock (prob dated myself)?, plus when the DFM is kicking off and on I can feel it at all speeds..
  3. Well, got the leak after 7500 miles and 10 months owning it plus a collapsed lifter at 818 miles not to mention the DFM noise that constantly plaques me when driving this vehicle or the flashing strobe lights on my trailers that alert everyone to my trailers. So GM fix is silicone bead in between the rear window and metal. I’m including pics of the fix[emoji23] if you can call it that. So when silicone goes bad in so many days or years, then what? Will it be under warranty or will it be on the owner of the truck, which will not be me!! Sad that this kind of money, then to fix it with clear silicone. Didn’t even take the window out. [emoji30] just done with GM and there trucks after 30 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I did it on my JK but a little different beast. Sounds great for a V6[emoji12]..I want to cut them, but kinda got a few things in the works with the truck. So I'll have to wait[emoji853] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thx for ideas. Just left dealer, they think it could be spark plug knock too. As I explained to the dealer, that I run premium in it. However I went to Chi town Mother’s Day weekend and stopped at some little gas station and filled up. Beginning to think that might be the issue as that’s when the acceleration noise started. So I filled up today at my normal station and will see if that helps. Otherwise looking to see if I can get my DFM turned off... [emoji1696] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I’m more worried about the noise when I accelerate. It sounds like it’s has a lose heat shield or something. The ticking I’ve just learned to live with it at this point. Maybe I need an exhaust like your corvette to muffle out the noise. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Well the strange noise continues but this normal- https://photos.app.goo.gl/ygu5Lp2hUmUvb6w68 https://share.icloud.com/photos/0VWVz-mcybGP_p-nEXhTafs6A Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Couldn’t agree more!! Still nosiest GM product I’ve ever had, plus the DFM noise is driving me right to lemon law or ?? I’m so past the thing and customer care is just point, useless.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Ya, disappointed on this for sure. I’m a loyal GM person and never have had a problem with my Camaro, Vette’s, etc..So, unfortunately started a case with GM plus dealer is helping the best that they can right now. Heck, I just picked up Terrain Denali for the wife. So still have much love for GM, just not this truck. Thinking about trading off on a Denali HD, but going to see what GM says..maybe Lemon Law.. not sure just not digging the noise and motor issue. Should have kept my 16 for one more year[emoji22] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, I have what sounds like a old heat riser spring rattle in my Denali 6.2, I’ve had it in shop 3x now. It’s the motor dropping cylinders and applying a light bit of gas. That’s when mine makes this noise and as soon as it request more power, it disappears.. 2200 miles on it. I’m going to spray foam the front area!! As GM has told me it’s the nature of the beast. [emoji3061] I also had foam added to my mirrors because of a wind leak..I should have waited a year!! But it does run like a beast!! Drove a new one off the lot, same story.. 11. Nice!! Very clean and organized!! May I ask what this will be used for? General? Horns? Air? Is it noisy in the cab when it runs?
  12. Hey Gary, sound normal..I would keep an eye on it..mine started slow and grew into a diesel
