  1. For my GM-900 I used ACDelco 214-2082, $60 off Amazon. It has the solenoid and remote filter, you just need to pick up some 5/8" heater hose and clamps. Here is a post with pictures from when I replaced mine.
  2. About 8 feet of 5/8" heater hose connected to the filter and read to go back on the truck.
  3. Removed the conector from the old part and connected it with 5/8" heater hose.
  4. Another view of the filter.
  5. The filters look the same except then new part has a larger guard and smaller slots compaired to the old onewhich is basically open on the bottom.
  6. The numbers stamped in the bottom of the solenoid are the same.
  7. Another view of the solenoid.
  8. The old and new part look identical.

    Old part

Old parts and hose removed from truck. The solenoid had water in it.
  10. ACDelco and GM part numbers.
  11. The first time I get to tow anything and it is a Ford.
  12. Congrats, just because I'm curious, how much time and money did it take to complete the transformation?
