  1. I had found quite a few on http://www.car-part.com/. I searched under 08 Tahoe. I was going to order one, but one popped up over here for sale before I did. Good Luck! Galen
  2. Joe, welcome to the board! As far as adding cruise and audio controls, you may be better off starting a new post about how to add them. The steering wheel change/ audio control addition is mainly for a truck that came with cruise control. To add the cruise, I imagine (but am not sure) that you would have to add a wiring harness to the column and a BCM programing/replacement. Once again, a new post would probably get the traffic you need to answer your question. Galen P.S. Thanks everyone for your help. I ended up getting a good deal on another steering wheel, so I didn't have to splice any wiring like I first thought I would have to.
  3. Thanks for the pics...those make a world of difference. I will take pics and post results when I get my controls ordered and installed! Galen
  4. Wow, I thought that they would go to the open slots and just have a wire or two shared...guess I was wrong! Thank you so much for checking this out for me! Looks like it should be fairly simple to tap into those wires and add the buttons without buying another wheel! Galen
  5. Damn, nobody has a harness out of the truck right now? I guess I will have to wait until I head back to my parent's house and pull apart my father's new truck to trace the wiring! Galen
  6. I tried searching, but didn't find anything. Since a NNBS wiring harness isn't available, I wonder if the standard cruise control harness can be modified to accept the radio wiring. I looked at my harness, and it has 3 open slots in the plug to the SIR coil, so can it be as easy as picking up a pigtail and adding the wires to the other harness? Could any of you who have a harness handy check it out and let me know what wires go to the radio controls and where on the plug they go? Thanks! Galen P.S. Maybe some pics of the connectors would be helpful
