My right side ABS has kicked in a couple times recently while driving @~30mph. I wasn't even braking at the times it happened. The ABS stays on for 2-3 seconds and then shuts off. I live in New England, I definitely know what it sounds and feels like. The last couple times it happened however, after the ABS noise / vibration, the truck pulls to the right for a quick jerk, then everything back to normal.
I bring it to the dealer and got the call today they found the problem... The rear tires have less tread than the fronts. That's their answer. Replace the tires.
Before I go ape sheet on them when I pick it up tomorrow...
Is there any truth to this at all or could it be plausible?
