  2. you need 10 psi per 1000 rpms....are you running synthetic?
  3. your cylinder might be seized, is it cold there? if so it may be frozen..have had that issue alot
  4. its possible, healthy for the truck? probably not..the truck is already being strained enough with the angles and such being warped out of the specs they were designed for. By adding a plow your putting even more strain on the parts...just my 2 cents, free of charge
  5. the biggest connection i can make to the 4l60 and how long is life is would be maintance...the secondary connection being how it was treated, i asked out of curiosity at the dealer how many of these trans they replace or have replaced and it sounded like it was a rare occurance....but seal failure i guess is common

  8. ditch the fram, get an ac delco or other decent brand...fram filters are about 3 bucks for a reason...specially if your driving alot, i average about 40-50 miles a day and i swear by ac delco(stock filter) and the oil always comes out nice and none chunky
  9. the filter is a huge factory in how long you go between changes, remeber that...for example amsoil can go 10k i think between changes but if your running a filter not built for severe change intervals your going to be running into problems...i don't ever go by oil life, i've never seen it come on in my truck i just go 3k for peace of mind, my entire family uses mobil one for 5-8k intervals with zero problems though
  10. i run canola oil with 2 scoops of grape kool aid with an ac delco filter.................................it all seriousness go to the store and buy a good brand of oil like castrol,valvoline,mobil one and get a good filter like ac delco, K&N, wix and be happy....asking what oils best is like asking what beer is best, to each their own...

  12. changes shift points, unless your geared for it the trans will be shifting alot to try to compensate to apply more force to turn the tires...
  13. hey what would cause pump seal and rear output seals to go bad? i lost both around 80k and ive towed maybe 1000 lbs twice...also how do yo tel if the trans is getting hot if you don't have the dummy guage? also can you tell me whats the deal with the bump shifting in the 03-04 L60s? does it hurt anything? everybody i have that has one does the bump shift i think at 1st and 2nd, and kick hard on downshifts...also in your experience whats the average life of the 60?
