  1. Talked to a tranny guy and apparently the newer xfer cases are a completely different design and don't require a pump rub kit. So rule that out
  2. Answering my own question from last year to help others. There is no separate ambient sensor like the pickups have. The sensor used for the dash temp reading is dual purposed. Anyway, my snowflake was blinking because the charge was low. I had a leak. Only way to find that out was with a HVAC scan tool
  3. I know this is a tough question since you're not here to hear the noise. But here goes. I have a 2014 tahoe with 100k. Around 30-40mph, under light throttle I get a rattling noise consistent with a worn u-joint. No Vibrations in the steering wheel or car itself. No change in 2wd or 4wd. My front and rear drive shafts are tight, and so are my CV axles. I'm not one to bring my cars to a shop, but threw in the towel and brought it to a local guy. He could hear the noise but couldn't find anything. He even put it on a lift and ran the car and couldn't see anything. After using the google I do see a lot of guys had issues with the pump inside the T-case wearing the housing away and not seating tight. But everything I found was the older T-cases previous to 2005. Anyone know if the newer T-cases suffer the same problem? Or any other common driveline problems in 2014?
  4. Hey guys, so the last hot day of the summer and my A/C won't come on. The snowflake just blinks.... Apparently, this feature is to protect the compressor on below freezing days. So I order the A/C ambient temperature sensor. Not to be confused with the ambient temp sensor for the outside temp on your dash. Problem is, I can't find it.... Anyone know where this sensor is? It has to be outside the engine bay, like the other Dash temp sensor, but no luck. I figured it would be in front of the rad like the other sensor?? If you guys could help me out before april comes
