I've had about 5 blowers in my time. A magnuson MP112, MP122hh, roush, whipple, and finally a TVS1900. They aren't hard to install. First one took me 8 hours with mounting the intercooler and all. But after that I could do it in about 4-5 hours easily. You don't really need the dyno tune. Hit up Blackbear Performance and get you an Autocal tuned for that setup. I never had an issue with any of mine.

Aren't you worried about the downward force on that strut mount causing it to snap? Or am I envisioning this differently?

I will definetly say it doesn't ride stock. The rear rides better than stock due to the loss of the leaf springs in favor of the 4-link. But the M/T tires harden the ride. But we do take it to Orlando, west coast of Florida, etc from Fort Lauderdale often. I won't complain about the ride.

Daily drive it every day. Actually my wife does. Picks the kids up from school. Sports. You name it. Gets washed every Saturday and waxed once a month.

I had no issues with the rancho shocks on my 16' denaliHd. No ride issues here either. And they were sadly removed when the 12" lift went on. Lol

Coilovers will ride better and give you adjustability to go a little higher if desired. If money wasn't a concern you'd be foolish not to run the coilovers
