Ok, so I have converted my 03-07 DL3 mirrors to the 99-02 plug so I can plug them in. In looking at my door harnesses, the plug for the mirror doesn't seem to be wired for the puddle lights (Missing the white wire in slot F). My question is how did you guys get the puddle light to function, if you didn't have the wire in your door harnesses? Did you pin the door mirror harness for the puddle light? If so, does anyone have the wiring pinout for the door harness in a 99-02 so I can see where it goes to when it connects to the dash wiring?Or did you tap a wire in the door (such as the door light itself or others?)Also, what wires did you tap in the dash for the Escalade Power Fold Switch for Pin 1 (Switch Light), Pin 2 (Ground), and Pin 3 (Power)? Thanks, Chad

I am currently doing a dash wiring harness swap on my 2000 Silverado (2wd), so I can add power windows and locks to my truck and I have run into a few questions, thanks to me not looking at my dash harness closely enough when I got it 6 years ago 1. My truck is a 2wd and it seems the harness I have pulled from a donor truck was out of a 4wd truck (found the transfer case module last night when going through it). My question is, will it still work on my 2wd truck to swap and not cause any functionality problems since it has 4wd functions tied into the harness as well (with no 4wd stuff to plug into) 2. Im also doing a 4.3 to 5.3 swap as well (2wd Engine Harness). Will this cause any issues also, since the dash harness will be 4wd and the engine harness 2wd? Thanks, Chad

A/C blowing warm air, not cold air

Well looks like I have been struck by the A/C problem as well. Took it in and was told its the discharge line from the compressor to condensor that everyone seems to have issues with. My question is, would it better to update it to the new design without the muffler (ACDELCO 15-34718) than using the old design with the muffler (ACDELCO 15-34670) and adding the bracket? I will be replacing it myself, but just want to make sure I get the correct hose for the truck.- 89 replies

Thanks Chris. Were you able to find one?
-
Yea, I was wanting to try and find new if possible, but I am thinking a salvage yard may be the only place I can find it.

Yea I checked there and none of the dealerships had one, as it is listed as discontinued.

I looked there, but they did not have any.

Hello all, It seems part number 15713205 (Left side cowl plenum drain) has been discontinued. You can still get the right side one, but not the left side. Anyone know of a good place to find discontinued parts (other than eBay), or does anyone have one laying around they would like to get rid of? Thanks, Chad

What have you done to your K2 today?
AIRRYDE replied to block8head's topic in 2014-2018 Silverado & Sierra Mods
You may be able to get by with not taking the passenger seat out, but it definitely makes it much easier. It was a pretty simple install, thanks to the thread and video by pgamboa. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
