  1. I would buy the 2011 Silverado 4.8 I just sold this summer with 300,000 on the clock or the 2006 5.3 Silverado with 204,000. Not sure how long these will last, but I bet they would too.
  2. You are overthinking it. Not sure how you are trying to add 4 pounds or whatever but it isn't accurate. Just add air or let some out.
  3. Sad to sad I rented a Nissan Sentra and the seats were much more comfortable especially on our 8 hour drive.
  4. I hung a 28 ft extension ladder out the back of my truck this morning. put it in feet first and let it rest on the tailgate. attach a flag to the back of the ladder. use at least 2 ratchet straps to tie it pulling forward to the lowest bed tie downs and one to suck it down the the tailgate. I do it all the time.
  5. Have you replaced the oil pump belt yet? If so, how much did it cost? Thanks
  6. Do you know the truck uses a stretch belt method? There is no way to release the idler like the older trucks.
  7. You will be very surprised with the power of your new truck. Crazy how much power the 6.2 produces. It is hard for me to believe they give a lifetime warranty. What does that cover?
  8. check to see if the bottom of the intake boot is on at the throttle body.
  9. Thanks for all the great ideas. You found the problem! I always open the door before I shut the truck off. Have to shut it off then open the door to get it to work. Thanks again!
  10. Any ideas for getting the exit lighting to work on my 24 ltz? I have it set to 120 seconds. When I open the door at night none of the lights come on. No headlights, reverse lights, puddle , nothing.
  11. I just added these. the lamps on my 2024 were pathetic and dangerous. These are very bright and make a huge difference. $26 shipped. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274071982857?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=meweZlVxTHm&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=uSXU3pL9S5-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

  13. I agree this fob is far worse than any before. I have hit the alarm button 10 times in the last month and a half with this truck. Never hit a button on my trucks starting in 2007
