  1. then when you win a lottery or come across a lot of cash ( and you will need the money.)you can do what Truckin did and buy turn your 5.3 into a 383 stroker (6.3L). you will need to beef up your tranny, driveline etc. then you can produce 671 HP and 658 lb-ft of torque http://www.truckinweb.com/tech/engine/1013...and_torque.html only if my truck was lucky enough to receive a 383 stroker.
  2. these systems should not freeze up, my truck is outside all night in -35 and everything works all the time, i drive my truck through lots of mudd, lots of snow and lots of water, and my 4x4 holds up great. i remember reading a thread on this forum about this same issues. but sadly i can't remember when and where. but the guys trucks message would come up all the time, all he did was change the fuse and he said the message never came back. mine came on about 3 weeks ago and then went out 1 minute later and never came back on. i would check the fuse. i can't remember what fuse but its a cheap fix if it is the problem.
  3. i know this will sound stupid. but if you have chrome or door handle covers take them off and see if that will work. because me and two other friends have 2001 -2002 trucks and all the door locks don't work except the passenger (only on the rare occasion.) one of the friends took off the chrome door handle protector off and now his door locks work. i never tried yet. it makes sense - the key doesn't fully get into the lock and, resulting in the locking pins causing the key not to work. i also soaked every lock will WD-40 and stuff for locks and nothing worked
