  1. I'd do a pan drop, replace the filter, clean the pan out well as well as the magnet. Use a high mileage dexron 3 transmission fluid (Example: Valvoline Maxlife). Daniel
  2. Also maybe a pin size hole in the heater core behind the glove box. Daniel
  3. It would be removed on mine, dual exhaust and ECM tuned to run on all 8 pistons 24/7 Daniel
  4. Your welcome, while there might have them do an alternator test too, just to make sure it's sending 13.6VDC to 15.5VDC back to the battery. Daniel
  5. While at the Auto Parts store I would have had them do a load test on your battery. Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone can do this. Based on what you've stated, to me it sounds like a weak battery under load, or bad connection on battery to starter (check connections/clean the battery connection). You've stated you have your dash lights, this indicates your ignition switch is ok. (My ignition switch went bad on my 1995 Silverado, however when I turn the key to run...nothing or no lights.) Hope this gives you a little more insight. Daniel
  6. In Kentucky we can carry open without a permit just not concealed. I believe we're the same as Tennessee. No need to apologize. I like open carry as well, just prefer concealed carry. Yes very very you always meet the most polite people in gun stores. Daniel
  7. 2001 should have a cable for the throttle, check and see if its not too tight and holding the butterfly valve open slightly. Daniel
  8. I personal use the manual shifting the gears myself when towing a trailer. I like having the control over it myself. For flat roads and interstate driving I'd use "D" For hilly roads and city driving I'd use Tow/Haul mode. The whole purpose of the Tow/Haul mode as you probably know is to raise the shift points to get the truck in a better power range. Also downshift sooner to help slow down the truck. Either way you should be fine as your truck was designed to operate in either mode. Daniel
  9. Wow...JUST WOW!!!! So sorry this has happened and hope it gets fixed! Must be a loose ground wire or loose connector somewhere. This is crazy, I'd be very upset too! Keep trying different dealerships. Daniel
  10. Great work Adam and thanks for sharing with us! Daniel
  11. Keep us updated with pictures please....looks great!!!! Daniel
  12. I'd first check my battery voltage after sitting all night. If good battery is probably fine. If it does it again, my guess would be a loose connection or a electronic issue. I don't think its a security issue because you still should have had your dome lights on. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Daniel
  13. In Kentucky we had to sit through a class, watch video's, multiple choice test and than go to the firing range. The sheriff in my small town taught the class. He sent our info to the state, after about a month and half our certificate came in the mail. The sheriff's office has your pictured license card. Take the certificate to them pay a fee and they give you your license. In my opinion every state should require a class, some people can not safely handle a firearm and therefore need to be shown proper handling. I would hate to hear someone lost there life because someone CCDW didn't handle their weapon properly and kill someone by accident. I love hearing when someone get's their CCDW, we need more good law abiding citizens carrying firearms. Of course if a person does not want to carry a firearm that is your right as a law abiding American citizen. Daniel
  14. I change my 2010 GMC Sierra with a 5.3L/325ci around 3,000 miles. I run 10w-30 Mobil 1, AcDelco PF63 and Lucas Pure Synthetic.
