  1. My regular cab 2014 Silverado has a whine coming from behind me as you drive down the road, ceases with taking your foot off the gas, returns as soon as your foot gets back into it. Easy to tell it is coming from behind your seat in a regular cab. Truck just today rolled only a little over 1900 miles, way too soon for this kind of nonsense.
  2. I was thinking of doing this before the truck gets a lot of road time, but the factory undercoating is pretty fragile; so haven't pulled the trigger yet.....
  3. I put the rear wheel well liners in my 2014 Silverado, GM part #22998786, the day after getting it home. I had them on-hand before the truck was even in the driveway. As it turn out, the front already had them, so now things are squared away at all 4 wheel wells. They were $102 from a dealership out of Phoenix selling on Ebay.
  4. Would anyone happen to have a shot showing the removal of the seats? I have a newly-purchased 2014 Silverado regular cab WT, and I plan to install carpeting in place of the rubber mat currently in the truck.
  5. My neighbor is telling me that when the oil sending unit starts to leak, it will do so showing on the passenger's side of the engine (which it does). I checked the oil pan bolts several months ago before this even started, just as a matter of mainteneance, and they were fine. The original trans bit the dust back in 2010, and the $3000 price tag at the time from the dealer was bad enough.....
  6. Thanks for the replies guys. I went to take a quick look at it this evening, and couldn't even see it. Will hopefully be able to get more time and attention to it this weekend.
  7. With 162,000+ on the clock, my '03 Sierra 4.8 2WD has started an oil leak at the rear of the engine. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I am hoping against hope that it isn't the rear main seal, but with my luck it probably is.....
