  1. I bought a new 2017 denali 2500 diesel in August and have smelled the burning rubber 3 different times now, seems to occur mostly during slow traffic conditions. I've got just over 10,000 miles on it so I would guess the "new" smells should have run their course already. Also, just this morning the engine light came on so not really sure what that's about yet, I'll post an update when I find out.
  2. I too have the "stone hitting the windshield" cracking sound when I drive down the freeway. I've had my 14 Sierra All Terrain for a little over a month now and have about 2000 miles on it. I started hearing the sound within the first week of ownership and like everybody else I thought it was a rock hitting the windshield. It's a little dissappointing that it's happening, but my biggest gripe with the truck is the throttle response, man is it slow... I end up flooring it all the time just to get it moving!
