  1. We are in Gunnison until this coming Friday trying to get it done. Talk about a learning curve coming from below sea level in LA. Seen a couple but nothing close enough to get to yet. Plenty cool truck picture opportunities though.
  2. Word of advice if you are looking to install a cutout. Make the rear cut further back towards the rear exhaust hanger, this will allow more adjustment on where the electric motor falls. If you look at my picture you can see that the top of the motor is directly under that crossmember, actually touching it. Ideally you want the y pipe perpendicular to the ground if you will use the turndown. I had to cut the turndown to make it look right. Also painted it black to blend in with the frame.
  3. Installed the rocker switch next to the 12v plug in the dash. Tied into the +/- feed for the cig plug. Not perfectly straight but you can't even see the switch if you aren't looking for it.
  4. 6 turns on the torsion bars. Netted me around 1 3/8" lift. Angles on steering and CV's all look good. Added zone shock spacers just in case.
  5. Wheels and tires came in. 20x9 +18 Ultra Hunter 203 with 275/65R20 Ridge Grapplers
  6. Google Badlanzhpe . I purchased his 3.5" stainless kit, 2- 3.5" stainless band clamps, and just ordered the 3.5" turndown.
  7. Installed the cutout today. Sweet music to my ears. Just need to order the turndown for it.
  8. Ordered a 3.5 in cutout for mine today. Had a similar setup on my 2010 with the 5.3, when it was just me riding around I could open it up. When the ole lady was with me or if I was towing anything long distance I would close it.
  9. Picked mine up Saturday. 2017 Sierra 2500 Crewcab 4x4 6.0 v8 At the dealer. Checking out how it looks at night. Already ordered husky floor mats, a B&W tow and stow hitch, led's for the cargo lamps/backup lights. Also have new wheels and tires on the way.
