  1. Just wondering, as I wanted to buy a new 2020 Sierra or Silverado, but have now held off due to this problem. Luckily I found this thread BEFORE purchase. Been reading it since mid December. Why do you think this spoiler was added to the roof design starting in 2019? A.) For appearance? B.) For fuel economy maybe with slightly improved aerodynamics? When you look at that picture of the red truck with the spoiler removed, how in the world can that stay sealed for years to come. Every hole in that roof has the potential to leak into the truck due to poorly sealed spoiler. So many contours and surfaces have to mate perfectly. IMO...They made a mistake with this spoiler.
  2. I have been following this thread for ~ 1 month. I own a 2010 Sierra Denali, and was just about to pull the trigger on a 2019 before the Jan 2 cut off of employee pricing. I though I should start reading some first. Glad I did. My finger is off the trigger for another year. BUT...I was watching a YouTube video of the 2020 Silverado production line. I grabbed some screen shots of the body. I count at least 16 holes of various sizes under that new rear spoiler. That wind driven rain at highway speeds could be getting under that spoiler and dripping down one or more of the various poorly sealed holes under it. Very cool video
  3. YES...I have tried to help it by hand.I played with the buttons by pressing/holding the vent open/close button (the right side rocker switch) After ~15 seconds, the glass panel moved full open. Now...when pressing the close button (the left rocker switch) it stops ~75 closed and wont go more. If I now press the right rocker switch. it will close back to 95%. There is 1/4" gap still The glass panel is loose on the driver side. I can wiggle it +/- 1/4", but not on the passenger side. or now I covered it with plastic so it wont rain inside the truck tonight. Will take to dealer Monday
  4. Hi all. It's been a long time since I posted on this forum. I am still driving my 2010 Sierra Denali and it only has 54,000 miles on her. Yesterday, I opened the sunroof, since the December weather is nice in VA. When I went to close it, the glass closes 95% and then opens again to the ~75% closed position. I press the close button again, and it just repeats this sequence. I have done an extensive search to try to find the answer, but nothing describes this exact problem. I read that there is a sequence to button pushes to re-calibrate it (press/hold vent button). Has anyone had this issue? I guess I need to take it to the dealer. Any idea what this is going to cost me? I am also debating a new 2019 or 2020 SD. Prices are good on 2019's till Jan 2. Thanks for any info y'all can provide. Steve
  5. Heated wheel on with remote start would be nice. However, the wheel does heat up very fast after pressing the on/off button. Seems like only after 10 seconds and its already warm on my truck.
