  1. Hey guys, sorry if this has been discussed but there is way too many pages to look back through lol.. Does carven make a kit for our 6.2's? On there site it only lists the 5.3. If anyone has the Tr muffler or the kit on a 6.2 I would love to know and would love to hear a little video clip. Thx.
  2. Finally got my 2017 Stone Blue Denali Ultimate washed and got the windows tinted and new bug shield and vent visors. God I love this color.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ill get some pics of mine soon, got windows tinted and Avs vent visors and Aeroskin bug deflector.
  4. Thx for the reply and video, that sucks they make it soo much more involved with the GMC's... chevy takes like 5 mins to get grille out. Thx again for the video, it shows the process good.
  5. Hey guys, like the title says, is the 16/17 GMC Sierra 1500 grilles easy like the silverado ones now or are they still harder and you need to take off bumper pad etc.. I wanna color match my shell and am wondering how hard it is before I get too involved. I searched the forum and lots of info on 2014 and 2015 but couldn't find any for 16/17. Thanks for any help guys.
  6. The L9H emblems look awesome.. going to look really good on the truck..
  7. Wish they would do some diesel stuff in forza. Black smoke and all.. haha
  8. If you get a clean side separator with a oil catch can you connect the left and right side with one chunk of hose. So as long as that T is just putting both valve cover vents into the intake tube that will be fine. I've had catch cans on last 3 trucks. 13/15/17 all 1500s and never had any check engine lights and everything runs perfect. All were 6.2's but that part of motor venting should be exactly the same. Just make sure if you connect both sides with one piece you get a cap and plug the intake tube otherwise you are getting extra raw air through the intake.
  9. put my truck in the garage because vacation is over and now it's time to drive he work car..
  10. Ouch... I hope they fix your problem.. my 2015 with 6.2 and 8 speed would almost die out in neutral idling and highway shifted terrible.. it was torque converter lock up issues for on the road, never figured out why every now and then it idled like it fouled a plug. I traded truck and new one is perfect.. good luck, maybe try mentioning the converter and see if they can find a TSB on that.
  11. It's your torque converter. My 2015 Denali did this. Granted mine had the 6.2 and 8 speed but what your explaining is the same. The converter would not lock and was slipping as it was trying to lock. I tryed everything and the dealer had truck more then I did so I traded the truck in.. good luck, hopefully if that is your problem they can fix it
  12. My new trucks get there first at 1000-1500 whenever I have time to bring it in. Then 3000-3500 whenever I have free time. These 8qt oil changes hurt the pocket book a little but I would rather be safe personally..
  13. i have a 2017 without rear dvd, has Gm changed the head units from 2014-2015 yet? can i do an upgrade to unloock DVD in motion my head unit or do i have to change the disc reader out like the old ones?
  14. diablo Intune works on 2015 and 2016 so it should work on a 2017 since they didnt change the ECMs. Ive used on my last 3 trucks. I havnt tryed on my 2017 yet but i will soon enough with some updates. Ill report back in a few weeks after i get 1500 on my truck and know everything else is good lol..
  15. suspension Maxx is a Great kit, made in USA and is the only one (i think) made for the magnetic ride in the denalis. without a denali they are still a great kit and easy to install.
