  1. As per the confirmed RPO code, doesn't look like the new mirrors have power extend. (DQS) Premium Camper Mirrors with chrome cap and new features: power fold, LED amber running lamps, and LED back-up lamp. Carry-over features include power adjust, manual extend, memory, heat, turn signal, and puddle lamp. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2014/08/2015-silverado-1500-updates-and-changes-made-official-rpo-central/#ixzz3AnUTNG1p
  2. They aren't power extending. See below, from the Chevrolet press release for the new HD high country. "Also available on the Silverado HD High Country are Chevrolets new up-level trailer tow mirrors. The chrome-capped mirrors manually extend for wider trailers and feature power adjust with memory and power fold. They include heat and turn signals in the glass. They also incorporate auxiliary clearance lamps and auxiliary cargo lamps to help make backing a trailer easier."
  3. The dummy ordered the old style black plastic mirrors. I knew it was too good to be true. He showed me the picture of the new mirrors and everything when he put the order in. I talked to a more reputable parts person at my dealer this time, and he said they are still listed as not yet available to order. The original guy must have saw that they weren't available and just ordered the black ones anyways.
  4. I ordered a set of the new tow mirrors last week, my dealer said they've come in today. I'm a little surprised they came in that fast, so I'm hoping they didn't screw up and order the old black plastic ones. They showed me the picture when they ordered and it was definitely the new chrome power folds. I'll update with some pictures when I get a chance to pick them up.
