Last night Chevrolet finally took the wraps off the long awaited details surrounding the 2010 Camaro. We've got all the details, photos, and information on the return of the classic.

We've been waiting a long time for this one. As someone who learned how to drive in a Z28 and had the pleasure of seeing the Camaro Concept unveiled in person at the North American International Auto Show, reading over the details of Chevrolet's 2010 Camaro is another step closer to the holy grail of Camaro enthusiasts everywhere- actually driving one.

There will be plenty of time to hem and haw over public reaction and my own personal thoughts on the long awaited return so for now lets get straight to the details.

Here's what we've learned from the official release:
- On sale during the first quarter of 2009 as a 2010 model
- Avaliable with the choice of two engines: A 300-horsepower 3.6L V6 and a 422/400-horsepower 6.2L V8

- An RS appearance package will be available on all trim levels and is equipped with 20-inch wheels and HID headlamps
