GM Reports 558,092 Deliveries in June, Up 41 Percent

DETROIT – General Motors dealers in the U.S. sold 558,092 new cars and trucks in June, up 41 percent compared to year-ago sales. This was GM’s best sales month since September 1986. The strong results were paced by all-time industry record truck sales (382,601) that were up 68 percent. GM led the industry in full-size pickup deliveries, which were up 102 percent. Car sales (175,491) were up 4 percent, with several new vehicles, including Cadillac STS, Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G6 and Buick LaCrosse, posting record sales results.

Drive Away With a Great GM Offer in July

DETROIT  -  GM  today  announced  its  latest  marketing  initiative,  Summerdrive,  which  is  available  on  vehicles  delivered  from  July  7  through  August  2.    GM  is  offering  competitive  cash  customer  allowances  of  up  to  $5,000  on  most  2004  GM  trucks  and  sport  utility  vehicles  and  up  to  $4,000  on  most  cars.    Alternatively,  GM  is  offering  interest-free  financing  for  five  years  for  qualified  buyers  on  the  purchase  of  most  2004  GM  vehicles.

Chevrolet Presents Essence With Special SSR

NEW ORLEANS - Chevrolet blew the lid off the Essence Music Festival (EMF) by presenting the Essence Music Festival team with a custom SSR today. General Motors Revamps Test Track Attraction

ORLANDO - General Motors last week opened an updated version of "GM Dreamchasers," a show that made its debut in 2001. "Dreamchasers" is located within the "Test Track presented by GM" attraction at the Epcot® theme park within WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort.
