First Impressions

The new Acadia is a refresh of the current Acadia, not an entirely new vehicle. That said, GMC has made significant changes to much of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.  GMC’s new design styling, which debuted on the GMC Terrain HD Concept,  makes it’s first production debut. It’s square, rugged, and clearly “GMC”. We like the new LED running lights and diffused LED tail-lights.  The wrap-around rear glass is something GM tried to pull off with the previous Acadia using visual tricks, but successfully executed in this iteration with all glass.

Inside the Acadia gets some additional refinement.  A new navigation system, gauges, dash, and HVAC controls all complement the new exterior design. The center console and seats seem to be a carry-over from the previous generation. New “wood” trim looks upscale and classy.

Overall- we’re excited about the new Acadia. Mid-cycle refreshes rarely are this successful.
