GM core brand sales up in December, down 2009 vs 2008 from non-core brand shuttering

OnStar Stolen Vehicle Slowdown helps recover carjacked Tahoe

GM and OnStar announce the use of OnStar’s Stolen Vehicle Slowdown (SVS) service to help safely recover a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe that was carjacked at gunpoint from a subscriber in Visalia, California. This is the first time that SVS has been activated to help a subscriber in a carjacking situation.

Pre-production Chevy Volt takes a bath in GM’s universal water chamber

Development on the Chevy Volt continues to progress at neck-break speed and GM has been sharing bits and pieces of the vehicle’s testing and engineering along the way. GM opens Global Battery Systems Lab to help drive Volt into production
