  • Is The Dash On Your GM Truck Cracked? New Lawsuit News.

A newly filed lawsuit in Wisconsin says that GM knew it had a problem with cracking dashboards. ABC News has reported that the suit alleges GM tried to find a cause other than its manufacturing and materials to blame the problem on. GM is also not covering the repairs of trucks out of warranty since this is not a safety hazard. However, there are reports that GM dealerships are offering to pay half of the cost of repairs. We do not have that from GM directly.

2017 Ram Power Wagon Beauty Shots and Overview

    2/12/2016
Ram launched the 2017 Power Wagon at the Chicago Auto show this week. The 410 hp 6.4-liter Hemi gasoline V8 is just one aspect of the truck that makes it tough. Ram clearly thinks this truck is the most off-road capable truck in the market. Toyota's TRD Pro may be more capable, but it is not a full-size truck. The Ram sure is. Here are some images and the spec rundown on the truck the Ram says, "... is an off-road, all-access pass, removing the limitations, instilling confidence and allowing owners to reach areas of recreation and lifestyle not attainable with any other pickup. The 2017 Ram Power Wagon delivers to those who travel into extreme terrain, while providing the towing and payload capability required in a heavy-duty truck.”

•New 2017 Ram Power Wagon front grille design styling super-sizes Ram 1500 Rebel
•Tops Ram – “The Off-road Truck Leader” – 4x4 lineup
•New colors, lighting, wheels, grilles and legacy graphic takes cues from 1979-80 “Macho Power Wagon”
•New interior colors and materials, including Diesel Gray and Black seats with tire tread-matching pattern
•Unique 17-inch wheels and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires pull dirt from its comfort zone
•Standard 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 with best-in-class 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque features unsurpassed powertrain warranty – five years/60,000 miles
•Unique Ram “Articulink” front suspension system incorporates high movement joints and sway-bar disconnecting system, allowing for additional flexibility and axle articulation
•Ram engineering continues to lead heavy-duty segment innovation with five-link coil rear suspension to deliver best-in-class ride and superior axle control
•Ram Power Wagon features standard front and rear electronic-locking differentials for true four-wheel drive and maximum traction
•Standard Warn 12,000-lb. electric winch mounted behind the front bumper, able to hang competitors off the ground
•Power Wagon available in Tradesman trim and design
•Up to 10,030 pounds of towing capacity
•Introduced in 1945, Power Wagon was first mass-production 4x4 pickup — simply no other pickup on the market matches Power Wagon’s on- and off-road capability

While not without their faults, the Dodge engineers/company/brand have a set of balls - this proves it. GM has the teeniest nuts out there!

If only they would re design that ugly front clip, I would have considered owning one of these trucks.

Some of their other vehicles have such sexy front ends, I don't know why they insist on keeping this ugly cross between a semi truck and cartoon Droopy.

Glad the graphics are more low key. The grill looks better in person but I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Regardless the PW is probably out of my budget unfortunately.

Take Silverado/Sierra with current 6.2 and design suspension (King shocks) and fenders to accommodate 35" tires. Done. Awesomeness.

Sadly, Mangina GM will never set down their purse, pull up their skirt and do that. Hence....why I am DONE with the current sissy la la GM.

Nat bad. Has a lot of features I do not think I would need. An aftermarket grill would help too. Not a big fan of the RAM on the grill or tailgate.

It's nice to see a truck without all that damn chrome. Chrome don't belong on a pickup truck.

Now THAT is a truck! Love it.

Since the diesels suck today with all the emission garbage on them, it's good to see a stout gasser as a power plant.

If only it had a carburetor - then I'd pull out all the stops & sink myself in debt to buy it. :D

Looks like Bilsteins too, right from the factory. Nice!

You're right :fingersx: , but chrome rails matched the rest of the chrome that came on the truck better so I had to suck it up and put chrome ones on. My preference would be minimal chrome.

Looks like it has a real gear shift lever on the column instead of that stupid rotary knob. They should at least give the buyer the option of which one they want. That knob belongs in a '54 Dodge, not in a new truck IMO.

that is one old setup..

panhard bar included.

king pins...

oh my.

dodge really got the parts bin out from 1947 didn't they.

I was just boasting of torsion suspension on my 1996...80mph on angled snow filled terrain.

Just replaced a pancaked 1.125 inch set of oem balljoints from moog...could have been 350k miles on them.

Come on dodge. Lets play offroad. :)
