Has anyone put bigger wheels on a 2019-2022 Silverado? I just got some 26 inch wheels and I’m not sure whether I need to put a 2” level kit on the front or 2” drop shackles on the back that would level it out either way.

Wondering if going down to 20s with more sidewall will improve ride quality? Custom offsets said 20x9 with 295/65/20s will help. Also do not want any rubbing and/or trimming. Can anyone confirm that these will fit. Factory offset is 44 and the new wheels will be 1. Any advice is appreciated

Offset tires on a truck can significantly impact its appearance, giving it a more aggressive and customized look. The offset refers to the distance between the mounting surface of the wheel and the centerline. Positive offset brings the wheels closer to the chassis, while negative offset pushes them outward. Trucks with negative offset tires on trucks often have a wider stance, giving them a more muscular and imposing presence on the road.

	Handling and Performance

Offset tires can also affect the handling and performance of a truck. Negative offset tires widen the vehicle's track width, which can improve stability, especially during cornering and off-road maneuvers. However, excessive negative offset may increase steering effort and place additional stress on suspension components. Positive offset tires, on the other hand, may offer better maneuverability and steering response but could sacrifice some stability. It's crucial to choose the offset carefully based on your driving preferences and intended use of the truck to optimize both appearance and performance.

I got a huge screw in the tread of my left front tire. Truck has 4900 miles and the tires are the stock Wrangler Fortitude highway jobbies.

The screw is pretty close to the sidewall. I don't think the tire shop will give me grief, but if they do, I'll probably just find a shop who will fix it, and then run it as a rear tire only.

But I actually don't know what would happen if -- supposed I actually needed to replace one tire. Would I need to do it in pairs because of the wear difference (should be minimal) or could I just throw a new tire on there with only 4900 (easy) miles on the other 3? I don't know the tolerances for the rear diff or 4x4 system. What would you do?

Hey guys, I have a 2000 sierra with a 4.8. It came with the 3.42 open diff but when they stripped I swapped to a 3.73. It's getting time for new tires so my question is this would 235/75/R16 or 255/70/R16 preform better? The 235/75/R16 came on the truck stock but that was with the old diff. I have a calibration tool to change the tire and diff size in the ECU so if there's a better size I'm open to better suggestions but I'm leaning really hard on these 2 options.

I just bought a '21 Sierra 1500 with the Baby Diesel. Loving it so far. It's in mint condition with 23K miles...and it came with these Bridgestone Alenza OS/2 tires. I actually don't mind the looks but I'm reading that they're very mediocre on the road and pretty awful in wet conditions or even light snow. They also retain small pebbles like nothing I've ever seen. I need some advice in a 275/60/R20...please note:

	* This truck will be used 95% on the highway and is going to be largely a weekend/as needed fun driver during the week. (I have a company vehicle).

	* I will almost never actively be going Off-Road

	* Decent snow performance is fairly important to me as I do live in upstate NY and love the confidence of 4WD in the winters. My family back where I grew up also has a steep driveway and I like the ability to tackle it when I visit on weekends in the winter. Winter performance is not important enough for me to consider dedicated snows (as much as I love

	 Blizzaks).

	* Comfort, handling and low road noise are important to me. I'm not looking to replicate my old lifted Raptor with 37"s...

	* Looks are somewhat important. I would like to avoid a tire that looks like it should be on my 85 yr old Father-in-law's Buick.

	* Something that doesn't SPRAY rocks everywhere as I hate rock chips (even though I am mostly on pavement).

Here is what I have been considering:

	1. Michelin Defender LTX M/S - Fantastic reputation from what I can read...seems to strike the best balance for almost everything I need (except I'm unsure of snow). My only hangup at all is in the looks department. Good lord..why make such a highly acclaimed highway tire that looks like it belongs on a 1995 Buick Skylark. Anything at all out there that compares that looks sharper?

	2. Michelin Defender AT/2 - This All-Terrain version seems like it may be a winner for me as it seems to have all the qualities as # 1 (with slightly stronger off-road emphasis) but still good highway performance and it seems better more aggressive look.

	3. Nitto Recon Grappler - Looks great...will def provide what I need in the snow but at what cost? It's no secret that this is more tire than I really need...and is the increased noise, decreased comfort/handling going to be that significant?

	4. Nitto Ridge Grappler - See # 2 above.

I'm totally open to other suggestions as well...thanks in advance for all your help.

Anyone have an idea of what might be going on here? I rotated my tires a few days ago and performed the relearn process let air out method. I've done this a half dozen times in the past with no problems.

The system recognized the new locations of the tires but when I started it, the small TPMS amber light is always lit on the dash. It does not blink, just stays on steady. There is also NO display on the DIC readout.

I've reset the system. Pulled N on battery for 10 mins.

Performed the TPMS relearn process a 3-4 additional times.

Air'd up all tires to max and then to low so DIC readout would indicate a low tire warning.

Verified the TPMS air pressure is close, ie within 3-4psi of an accurate tire gauge.

I would think a TPMS fault would be accompanied by a DIC display? Everything i've read says the light will blink for 60 secs and a error display will show.

Thanks for any ideas!!!

I'm looking to replace the crappy stock Goodyears and would like to up size without lifting. Those of you that have 275/60/R20 or 285/55/R20 tires with no lift, do you rub or not? Looking through other threads seems like some do some don't.

Please post if they rub and what tires you went with.

I recently purchased a 2022 2500HD Work truck. It has the Z82 Trailering Package but I really want to monitor the trailer TPMS sensors.

Is this something that can be installed after the fact?

If so what parts do I need to order?
