It seems no GM cars are listed on Sigenergy compatibility list of manufacturers. The list includes most other EV manufacturers. Does anyone know the problem? The charger Sigenergy model #11080012 https://www.solarelectricsupply.com/sigenergy-dc-ev-charger-25kw is very capable and seems to be matched electrically very well (DC-DC). Is this a communication/software handshake problem? Can we assume a fix is in the works?

I’m sharing my extremely frustrating experience with my Cadillac Lyriq, which has been nothing short of a nightmare. Since purchasing the vehicle on November 13, 2024, it has failed over five times with the same issue, leaving us stranded and frustrated. To make matters worse, the car cannot blow heat in extreme cold conditions (below -15°C), which is completely unacceptable for a vehicle marketed as a premium electric SUV.

We’ve been working hard to bring Apple Music natively to your GM vehicle and it’s finally here. Drivers can now enjoy millions of songs, curated playlists, exclusive content, live global radio, and personalized recommendations, all seamlessly integrated into the in‑vehicle experience.

For customers in eligible vehicles with the latest software, the new Apple Music app will automatically appear on the infotainment screen once the over‑the‑air update is installed. No dealer visit or customer action is required. Please note that Apple Music is not available for download in the Google Play store.

This is a phased rollout. We began releasing the update on December 15, and it may take a little time to reach every vehicle. If your vehicle is eligible in this first phase and you don’t see the app yet, hang tight—we’re working hard to deliver it in the next wave. Additional Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles, along with Buick and GMC vehicles, will receive Apple Music in the coming months.
