<p>This was the most time consuming part of my day. I had to get into each nook and cranny for both coats. Plus I did the entire caliper since it isn't on the truck yet. I hung each caliper from a bolt that was attached to rope which I tied to a cable running between two trees. I used G2 caliper paint, very good stuff. Must use it in under 6 hours though. And it does look sorta orange, but once it dried, it is a lot redder than that</p>

<p>Here is a one of the calipers stripped down to bare metal. After you get as much paint off as you can with a putty knife, I used a wire brush and some brake cleaner, turned out beautifully!</p>

<p>Calipers came with paint and Ive heard it is best to paint calipers from bare metal so I took out the time to remove the paint that NAPA put on there during the reman process. Used aircraft remover and a crap paint brush and it came off as easy as possible! This was my first time using that aircarft remover and man, is that stuff powerful. And the scent is not very pleasant either</p>
