Just Bought A 2010 Gmc Sierra

I just purchased a 2010 GMC Sierra over the weekend. Needless to say I was going back and forth between this and the Silverado, but ultimately the GMC had all the features I wanted in the end. The 5.3L is a beast and I love the rear parking assist.

The one feature it did not have was fog lights, but it obviously wasn't a deal breaker If I were to add factory fog lights down the road, how difficult would that be? I saw there were some fog lights and switches on ebay for a pretty cheap price.

Also, I can't seem to find my tire pressure gauge. I pushed the trip reset button numerous times, but no PSI indicator. Would it just be a general warning if a tire was low?

I'm already starting with the mods...just purchased a billet grille Next will probably be a K&N air filter and exhaust.

You need to have the DIC to check you tire pressures. If you have it, it should be to the left of the steering wheel by the air vent. If you don't have it, you can purchase the panel and install it. It's simple plug and play and takes about 10 min. to install, well worth the money.

I just recently purchased a 2010 Silverado with Z71 appearance package and it did not come with the DIC. I did order one and install it. My next install are radio controls.

Welcome, nice truck...I too went GMC after going back and forth...front end on GMC made my choice...have fun with the mods....

Thanks for the replies. I really love the stance of the 20" rims.

It doesn't appear that I have the DIC. Would I purchase that through a dealer? Would my tires already have the correct pressure sensor in them?

You can get a DIC off ebay or gmparts direct for about $58

Hello & welcome. Nice truck. I would recommend the OEM fog light kits & DIC panels that are available from GM dealers, aftermarket sources, and eBay - prices vary.
