Pic of jack and crankshaft

Recommended Posts

I was wondering of someone could take a photo of the jack and crankshaft in it's proper place under the back seat in their Silverado.

I had to use mine the other day, and can't for the life of me figure out where the wheel chalks go.

Thanks,

Dan

humm i rember how they went i think their some clips or holes under the back seat their the wheel clamps go then tie around it . i do not rmeber had not use it since the factory jack snapped on me and i got a 2 ton jack now . Recomended trash the factory jack and buy a car jack will save you in the long run.

i thought the crankshaft belonged above the mains and below the connecting rods :) but seriously the jack lays on its side and clips in at the base and then you extend it till it is locked in there nice and tight and then the metal clip and bastardized version of a wingnut holds the other stuff in.
